CHECK OUT THESE FEDERAL LAWS...
There is only one current definition for the "Flag of the United
States"; it was passed by Congress in 1998.
The "Flag of the United States" is to conform to the proportions found
on the reverse side of this flyer. (No specific size is mandated, but
proportions of all parts are to be correct.)
The "Pledge of Allegiance" should be made to a correct flag, as decided
by Congress.
IT'S UP TO YOU! Join the fight! DEMAND that our official flag is on
display where it should be! In our schools, public buildings, and
polling places.
CHECK YOUR STATE LAWS for U.S. flag displays in: courts, schools,
polling places and municipal buildings. Compare the flags on display
with the diagram on the reverse side of this flyer. If displayed flags
are incorrect, CALL YOUR LAWMAKERS! Demand that sworn officials comply.
Remember, ONLY Congress can define what the U.S. flag is to look like.
Our veterans served the United States and the flag of that country has
been specifically defined. A flag that is similar, but incorrect, is NOT
the flag of the United States, it is an "American" flag. There is NO
country called "America", and NO "American Congress".
WHY ISN'T OUR OFFICIAL FLAG DISPLAYED WHERE CONGRESS SAYS IT SHOULD BE??
SPEAK OUT! RESPECT THE SACRIFICES OF OUR VETERANS! DEMAND THAT OUR
PUBLIC OFFICIALS DISPLAY THE OFFICIAL FLAG OF OUR COUNTRY.
USE THE FORMULA....
It works for all sizes. The current 3' hoist flag should have...
* STARS with a diameter of 2/14", (36"X.0616=2.21")
* A UNION of 2' 31/3 long, (36" X .76=27.36")
* A FLY (overall length) of 5' 81/3" (36"X 1.9=68.40") |
